This is another reason, which is quite common in this case: since the plot is small and the house is 2-3-storey, there is a high probability that it will shade the open area. The worst case is if the yard is also located on the northern side. In this case, you should choose shade-covered plants for design, and in addition, think about artificial lighting of the garden and add an open hearth for fire. As a rule, the house on the plot is located approximately in the middle. That is, there is a small area in front of the entrance - the so-called "entrance zone" and the courtyard, located behind the house and fenced off from the three remaining sides of the fence, that is, in fact, hidden from the eyes of strangers. So far, we have mostly discussed the backyard. As for the area in front of the house, it is best to organize a flat lawn. Such a stylish solution of the landscape will not distract attention from the house itself - already at the entrance to the gate. Besides, the tenants themselves will not be too big and active plants to close the view to the street.
